Smiles Beach Photo is always hiring energetic self starters. We offer full and part time positions all year round. Our beach busy season is from Memorial Day to Labor Day and our ski resort busy season is from Thanksgiving to Spring Break. We also have paid internships for college students and require no experience. We provide training, all equipment, beach housing, and the summer of a lifetime. What jobs are available in your company?
Beach/Mountain Photographer: Spend days on the beach/mountain photographing families, couples, kids, groups, etc.
Portrait Photographer: Photograph groups that have pre-set appointments during sunset and sunrise.
Wedding Photographer: Photograph wedding ceremony, portraits, and candids of the reception.
Restaurant/Nightlife Photographer: Photograph customers of the venue and fulfill photographic orders on the spot.
Studio Support Staff: Tend to customer’s need in the studio, print and package photos, edit images.
Promotion/Marketing Team: Promote our services by handing out flyers, word of mouth, etc.
Where will I live if I get the Job?
Housing will be provided to applicants who get the job. You will be responsible for a refundable security deposit and utilities for the housing provided. *Rent will be free for employees who fulfill their employment agreement* Housing with Smiles Beach Photo is not mandatory. If you choose to find your own housing or would like us to assist you just ask.
I have an offer for an internship this summer/winter; can I use this experience as an internship?
Absolutely! We have internships available in Photography, IT, Communications, Business, Graphic Design, Management, Marketing, Art, Computer Science, and more. We will work with your college and handle all the necessary paperwork to ensure you receive credit for your work done with us!
How much can I expect to make?
That depends a lot on you. We have part time and full time positions that can range from $250 a week all the way up to $1500 a week during the prime weeks. There will be a combination of hourly, commission, bonuses and tips that will make up your paycheck. It is not uncommon for employees to make $8,000 to $15,000 in their first season!
