It was my family’s first photo shoot ever and she was constantly giving out pose ideas to do, which I really loved. Frequently Asked Questions
Our photo sessions are simple and convenient. There is no sitting fee, deposit, obligation or minimum purchase. All you have to do is schedule the appointment (either online or by phone). Next we will reach out to you to discuss the best time & location for your shoot as well as go over all the details of the group and what you are looking to accomplish with the photos. We will then have a photographer take the photos.
Once the session is complete you are able to view and order your photos instantly at any of our conveniently located shops. This is where you can go through the photos with a studio tech and you can request touch ups and edits, order print or digital products, and decide if you want to receive your products the same night or have them shipped to your home.
If you are short on time there is an online viewing and ordering option as well.
Smiles aims to be as convenient as possible. We have a few dedicated locations on the beach that are less crowded, offer a lot of space, and have some of the best backdrops to capture the perfect family photo you were thinking of. Some locations contain beautiful sand dunes and green sea oats, some contain rustic wooden piers some contain lifeguard stands and some contain all of the above.
All sessions are taken on the beautiful beaches of NW Florida and all shoots will have the Gulf of Mexico as a backdrop. Whether your session is in the morning, mid-day, in the evening, or at sunset, the photos always look amazing!
Additionally we understand it is difficult for some families to come to one of our dedicated locations, so we have a traveling photographer service where we can conduct the photo shoot at the location of your choice. We can come to any hotel or beach house. When booking the session, we can discuss all options and availability.
We do not limit the number of photos taken or delivered. Our photographers are trained to take multiple poses of each group as well as break the family down to get all the combinations of the group dynamic and individual portraits as well. For each combination they will take multiple poses and multiple angles of each pose.
A typical photo shoot will have 70 to 300+ photos depending on the size of the group. Again, each and every family, couple, large group, senior, engagement, etc., is different. Please call in and speak with one of our experienced photographers who can customize the experience and photo shoot for you.
This is the best part! We are the only photography company that has an actual storefront. Whether you come to our main shop or visit our viewing kiosk in your hotel, you can order and receive your photographic products immediately after the shoot. All of our locations are open 7 days a week so you can visit to view and order when ever you want.
Once you arrive at the viewer, our studio assistants will help you navigate through the photos and explain the packages, pricing, and options. Once you make your selections, they will prepare your order with our state-of-the-art technology and professional printers. In-store fulfillment is recommended as we are there to help you every step of the way, and you have the option to review and inspect your products upon delivery.

You come to the shop, view your images, and purchase only what you want. We offer everything from key chains, souvenirs and novelty items, to professional prints, enlargements and canvas. Digital images with the copyright release are available as well. We have many packages to choose from as well that include multiple poses, your choice of size, and are priced to fit any budget.

The weather in a beach town can be unpredictable. Usually if it rains, it is only for a short period of time and after the sun has gone down. Majority of the time we are able to complete the photo shoot. If, for some reason, we are not able, or you would like to reschedule, that’s no problem. We will simply reschedule you for a time that works best for you. We have a crew of 20+ photographers on staff to satisfy your needs.
